Web sites are like worry stones
I don't remember who I heard this from...Dave Rupert? Jim Nielsen? Maybe I just made it up? Anyway, it's true. You can just keep adding stuff to them and tweaking them and messing with them until eventually they're smooth perfect round little things. Over time they become these cool things, and the time is REQUIRED to make them (you can't do it all in a day)
You fuck with it whenever you have time, ideas, inspiration, and it becomes something interesting. Whatever.
they're never complete, they're always changing...which is a good thing to remember when you're starting one and only feel like you can go so far, or if you run out of ideas and feel stuck.
who fucking cares? it's a work in progress. we're all works in progress

in fact, that's how i approach all of my long-running / bigger projects
i can only do so much at once (and only have so much motivation) so i've GOT to work on it slowly over time.
single works of anything (art music etc) (usually) can't be produced in a day, same thing pertains to software and web sites
